Diverse pastures in NZ - ‘Catch the Rain’ webinar May'24

 

Webinar host Sam Lang and guest farmers Rhys Roberts (Align Farms) and Miah Smith explore techniques, successes and challenges for incorporating diverse pastures into NZ farming systems.

The webinar kicks off with Sam summarising the collective knowledge and insights of farmers that participated in a series of farmer focus groups, which is now available on the Quorum Sense Toolbox. Rhys and Miah then share the approaches and results they have achieved on their respective farms, finishing with a Q&A and discussion.

This webinar was funded by Beef + Lamb New Zealand as part of the ‘Catch the Rain’ project.

About ‘Catch the Rain’

Catch the Rain is a farmer-driven education, research and innovation project focused on improving rainfall infiltration and soil moisture retention on non-irrigated pastoral farms. Is it funded by Beef + Lamb New Zealand and led by Quorum Sense.
