An opportunity to find out more about bale grazing as a viable and cost-effective wintering practice with environmental and animal welfare benefits.
The event will include presentations from:
Ross Monaghan of AgResearch who has been researching bale grazing for three years
Dylan Ditchfield on whose Southland farm the research was carried out
Deane Parker and Mel Scarlett who are about to fully winter cows on their Canterbury property
Followed by a visit to Scarlett Farm to see bale grazing in action.
