The regenerative agriculture dryland experiment (RADE) is comparing regenerative and conventional dryland farmlets at two fertility levels over six years. It is part of the larger Whenua Haumanu research project.

Topics covered will include:

  • Sheep production

  • Dry matter yield and botanical composition changes in Years 1 and 2

  • Grazing management

  • Soil fertility

  • Soil moisture and demonstration of measurements being taken
