Further information

There is a great deal of overlap between the remedies used for cows and humans. This workshop will help people get over their impression that herbs are hippy BS by running through the science, particularly as it pertains to treatment of antibiotic resistant infections with herbs. We will also discuss the links between cow antibiotic use, soil decline and cow digestion that are paralleled in humans.

Tutor: Phyllis Tichinin

Phyllis has a long history in soil and animal health. Educated as a soil scientist and trained by some of the best people in the industry, including Dr Arden Anderson, Dr Paul Dettloff and Jerry Brunetti, she describes herself as an Eco-nutritionist – Someone who looks for the patterns that link soil health, food nutrient density, environmental integrity and human well-being. With a mind like a steel trap for facts and figures, she specialises in coaching farmers to grow foods that heal both people and the planet and in educating consumers to demand healthy food from truly healthy soils. She is keen for farmers to see themselves as the foundation for planetary recovery….the real health professionals. This is a session you don’t want to miss.
