A day at Hukarere Station

Join Quinny & Beck Hazlett (Owners of Hukarere Station and members of Southern Organics) and Regen South to have a session with an organic certifier and a red meat marketer on Wednesday 9th April.

The purpose of the day to explain and answer any questions to the process in becoming organically certified regarding the different organic certifications. The certifier will cover off sheep and beef, and dairy.

Quintin has also organised Jim Goodall to talk to us on the ins and outs of marketing sheep and beef from a regen and organic perpective. Jim has had a lot of experince with marketing red meat over the years and has a lot of wisdom to share.

 

Rough agenda –

10am                  Cuppa then farm tour around part of Hukarere

12.30-1pm         Lunch (BYO)

1pm                     Certifier and Jim Goodall

3-4pm                Finish
