Future Whenua Summit is a pan-sector event covering everything from regenerative agricultural practices to the cutting edge in technological innovation and the policies and research that underpin them all.

FWS24 will explore the critical topics of our time:

  • How can we best steward our land in New Zealand?

  • Who are the people and organisations working towards change?

  • Deploying large-scale regenerative food and fibre systems.

  • The tools and practises needed to help us towards this goal.

  • How can humanity and nature flourish as partners?

  • Igniting the significant collective action required of all of us.

The summit holds a focus on community resilience and the alignment of human needs with Earth's natural cycles. The event promises an enriching experience through a series of talks, workshops, and interactive sessions. This gathering is a pivotal opportunity for those committed to ecological sustainability and regenerative agriculture to connect, learn, and inspire one another towards actionable change.

The summit will be guided by the broad themes of innovation & biodiversity and our lineup of talks and workshops reflects key aspects of these topics. There will be a spectrum of high-level to grassroots, pragmatic ideas discussed and showcased.
