Event details

Registration: 9.30am

Event start: 10am

Finish: 3pm

In the morning Dr Charles 'Merf" Merfield will be discussing all things soil health, he will run through the history and benefits of Visual Soil Assessments and then demonstrate how to carry out a VSA. Attendees will then be given the opportunity to carry out a VSA under guidance and record their findings to further discuss.

After lunch there will be a farm walk with Gerard Anselmi (owner) and Jake Anselmi (manager) to see first-hand the regenerative practices that they are implementing on the farm and how it is helping them to deal with issues such as compaction and kikuyu management. They will also talk about their use of lime, humates and EMNZ.

This field day will be interactive, there will plenty of opportunities for discussion and sharing!

Look forward to seeing you there!
