This is for you if you are a market gardener, a grower planning to move into local commercial production or an aspiring grower.
Join us for a fun and informative weekend of community building. We will come together and share strategies to develop the financial sustainability of our businesses through management of production, marketing and distribution. We will share different models of operation, aiming to strengthen links between colleagues and with customers, to answer the question, “How do we grow our living?”
Tickets types available are
Residential - centrally heated bunk-room style accommodation, with shared ablution block, including vegetarian meals from Friday evening meal to Sunday lunch. (Please remember to bring your own sleeping bag, pillow and sheet!)
Non-residential - day attendance, including evening meal on Friday, lunch and evening meal on Saturday and lunch on Sunday
There is very limited stock of sleeping accommodation with en suite. These units can be booked by groups of 2-4 people for a supplementary charge of $40 per person. Please contact secretary.otagoorganics@gmail.com for further information about availability.
CYC Waihola is just off SH1 thirty minutes south of Dunedin, providing an attractive park-like setting close to the lake and township.
Please note that this venue is alcohol and smoke free.
