Zoom webinar, 3 x 20 minute keynote addresses, followed by an interactive Q&A with the audience;

The day-to-day activities involved in running a farm are difficult enough – add in the considerations around sustainability and all the factors that encompasses and it becomes even harder.

Regardless of the types of practices run on a farm – whether it is regenerative, organic, or social – there’s a plethora of ambitions, dreams and aspirations. One thing they all share in common is the desire to build a profitable company. Yet, does mere profit by itself go far enough? Or should farmers be looking to achieve even more?

Some companies strive to uphold the ideals of people, planet and prosperity. It is a model of business management that places value on social and environmental responsibility as well as the company’s bottom line. So how can farmers balance the three? With the changing legislation and other environmental factors we see becoming more of a focus for consumers – does this make a farmer's job even more challenging?

Does the want to pursue sustainability differ depending on the farm focus and practices?

Join the discussion to hear from 3 food producers already implementing techniques on their farms to help them become more sustainable and get their advice on what you can do to get started.

Speakers include Quorum Sense community member, Mike Porter, and Kelvin Hicks, Willowmere Organics.
